M. Alex Beatty is a graduate of Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis, and joined the firm in December, 2010.

Alex earned his B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University Southeast. He earned his J.D. cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. While in law school, Alex served as the Executive Production Editor of the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review and as the Fellowship Director of the school's Dean's Tutorial Society, through which he also tutored Civil Procedure

Prior to joining Katz & Korin, Alex served as legal intern to the Office of the United States Trustee in both their Indianapolis, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky offices. He also served as legal intern for an Indianapolis-based engine manufacturer.
